New Zealand got back to winning ways in their second pool match with a strong showing versus Kenya.
After stumbling out of the blocks in a shock defeat to Japan, New Zealand went out to make a statement against Kenya. Tries from Rieko Iaone and Augustine Pulu and a late try from Collins Injera gave New Zealand a 14-5 lead at halftime.
New Zealand stifled the Kenyans in the second half. The Kiwis were awarded a penalty try and Lewis Ormond sealed the deal for New Zealand who have it all to play for in their final match of pool play tomorrow morning.
